Sherrod Franklin “Freedom” Moore, the father of the talented American actor and model Shemar Moore, played a significant role in shaping his son’s life. Born on September 4th, 1941, Sherrod was an African American who defied societal norms during a time when interracial marriages were frowned upon. He had a relationship with Marilyn Joan Wilson-Moore, who was of Irish and French-Canadian descent, and their union led to the birth of their son Shemar Moore.
