Laura Ingle is a renowned American broadcast journalist who is best known for her work at the Fox network’s Fox News Channel where she serves in the capacity of a news correspondent. Ingle began her career at Fox in 2005 as a correspondent based in the city of Dallas, Texas but has been serving as a New York City based correspondent since January 2007. She has since completed 12 years of her career at Fox.

Ingle began her journalism career when she was hired as a general assignment reporter by KFI-AM 640 Radio station in Burbank, California and served as a field reporter and anchor at the Sacramento based KFBK-AM Radio station. She has been felicitated with 4 Golden Mike Awards by the Association of Television and Radio News Directors of South California. She is also the winner of the 2005 Edward R. Murrow award for her detailed coverage of the Scott Peterson trial of 2004.

Early Life and Education

Ingle was born as a Citizen of the United States of America in the city of Sacramento in California State as the daughter of her parents. Ingle has not disclosed any information about her early life. She is the only child of her parents who raised her in the city of her birth.

Ingle completed her primary, secondary and high school education from various schools in her native city of Sacramento. However, she has not divulged the details of the institutions from where she completed her university education or the degrees she holds.

Career Rise

Ingle began her career in the field of journalism when she was hired in the capacity of a general assignment reporter by the KFI-AM 640 Radio station in Burbank, Los Angeles County, California. Ingle later moved back to her native of Sacramento when she was offered the position of a field reporter at the KFBK-AM Radio station, where she also served as an anchor and provided news stories on several topics like politics, sports as well as breaking news stories. She famously covered the court trails of Michael Jackson and Scott Peterson.

Ingle started gaining national recognition in 2005 when she joined the Fox Network with a base in the city of Dallas in Texas. She was hired as a Fox News Channel correspondent and covered several stories of national and international significance for the network which include the Southwest Airlines Flight 345 crash-landing at LaGuardia Airport (LGA). Ingle also served in the capacity of a traveling correspondent for FNC’s nationally syndicated broadcast program ‘Geraldo at Large’ from October 2005 until January 2007 when she was transferred to FNC’s Northeast Bureau in January 2007. While there, Ingle reported on several stories including the Hudson plane landing, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, Connecticut home invasion, Hurricanes Irene and Katrina etc. As of 2017, Ingle is based with the FNC bureau in New York City.

Ingle dated Kenny Kramme, a drummer from New York City and a native of Long Island in New York, for several years until he proposed marriage to in September 2008 her while they were vacationing in Paris, France. The couple tied the knot one year later, on 12 September 2009. The couple became parents in February 2013 when Ingle gave birth to their first child, a son who they named Jackson Marshall Kramme. The family resides in New York City.
