A former presidential candidate, Carson withdrew from accepting the proposal of a job as the HHS Secretary.   The Health and Human services job was quite prestigious, but he did not want to accept it because he decided to support Trump outside the government. A week after his campaigns got over, Carson started helping and assisting Trump to win the 2016 election.

Carson desires to provide the advice and required suggestions to Trump whenever he needs him. He felt that though had no experience in government works he, should not risk in taking these responsibilities.
