Early Life and Education

Jedediah was born on 29 January 1979 in Brooklyn, New York, US. Her mother taught acting classes at home, while her father worked in a coin and stamp shop.

She attended Wagner College and graduated with a major in Spanish and a minor in Business Administration. After her bachelor’s degree, she enrolled at Columbia University for a Masters degree in Spanish.

Career

Bila began her career as a teacher in 2005 in New York. She taught Spanish, creative writing, and improvisation to students in high school, middle school, and college. She also worked as an academic dean in NYC at a private school.

Bila changed her career path from education to television commentary in 2009. That year she wrote a review of the book ‘Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto’ by Mark Levin on her blog. This review was read on air by radio host Levin, which in turn prompted Fox News TV host Sean Hannity to send out an invite to her to appear on his show ‘Hannity.’
