Billy Bush is an American radio host and presenter. He is known for the popular ‘The Billy Bush Show’ a nationally syndicated radio talk show aired across the US. Though he joined the ‘Today’ Show on NBC News in 2016, he was removed by the channel in the month of October, for unsavory remarks against women, heard on a leaked video tape with Donald Trump.

Early life
William Hall ‘Billy Bush’ was born on October 13, 1971 in Manhattan, New York to Jonathan Bush (whose older brother George H.W Bush was the ex- US President) and Josephine.
Bush attended St. Bernard’s School and St. George’s School in Rhode Island. In 1994, he passed out from Colby College, Maine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Government.
Career
Bush started his career hosting the afternoon show on WLKZ-FM Channel in New Hampshire, during the 90s. He joined ‘Access Hollywood’, a popular daily entertainment news magazine and became a corresponded in 2001. He became the primary anchor of the show in 2004.
Bush was also hired as a reporter for NBC, for the Summer Olympics 2004 in Athens. He also hosted ‘The Billy Bush Show’ a night-time radio show, syndicated by Westwood One. Bush has also co-hosted the Miss Universe pageant four times with co-anchor Nancy O’Dell and Claudia Jordan.
Bush quit Access Hollywood in 2016, was hired as the co-host of The Today Show (third hour). In 2016, found himself embroiled in a controversy, where he was video-recorded having a lewd conversation with Donald Trump. On October 10, he was removed from NBC.

On October 7, 2016, a video footage was released where Donald Trump and Bush were having a lewd conversation, this was a part of the footage for Access Hollywood in 2005. Trump was supposed to play a cameo role in an episode of ‘Days of Our Lives’ where he would also promote ‘The Apprentice’ in that episode. In that tape, Trump was found to be discussing a failed attempt to seduce Nancy O’Dell. Trump also discussed about inappropriately touching ladies and Bush was heard laughing along and cheering him, in the video.
Bush admitted that he was younger (34) at the time, and acted foolishly, in retrospect. He also apologized for the incident. On October 9, 2016, following an internal review, NBC suspended him from ‘Today’ Show and didn’t specify, if he would return.
