Early Life and Education
Moore was born in Rosewell, New Mexico on November 11, 1962 to Charles Harmon, Sr., an Air Force airman and Virginia King. Moore’s father left her mother just after two months of their marriage, before she was born. Moore’s mother soon married Dan Guynes, who she considers to be the only father figure in her life.
Moore was a student at Fairfax High School, West Hollywood, California. She left high school when she was sixteen and went to Europe on assignment as a pin-up girl for the Elite Modelling Agency. Moore was inspired by German actress Nastassja Kinski and enrolled into drama classes.

The first half of the 1990’s was a very successful period in Moore’s career. Her movies did well commercially and she also received multiple film nominations, including a Golden Globe nomination for ‘Ghost’ in 1990. Moore then married actor Bruce Willis in November 1987 and had three daughters with him named Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. The couple divorced in October 2000.
