Early life and background
Sandra Smith was born on 22nd September, 1980 in Wheaton, a western outpost of Chicago. Her father was a floor trader at Chicago’s Mercantile Exchange. In the year 1998, she finished her schooling from Wheaton Warrenville South High School.
Sandra is the receiver of the All-DuPage Valley Conference honors. Besides, she was an Academic All-conference selection and Illinois High School Association State qualifier.
After completing her high school, she joined Illinois State University and after a short period, she was shifted to Louisiana State university. In the year 2003, she has played in Division I College sports on an NCAA national championship team. Sandra received her degree in speech from Louisiana State University.
Sandra started her career as a research associate at a company named the Aegis Capital Group. There, she prepared weekly stalk newsletters to clients, assisted in the analysis and research of retail stocks and researched on investment opportunities for the group.
After quitting this job, she joined Hermitage Capital Management as a trader. There she conducted portfolio analysis, executed U.S equities, and produced commission reports.
