Glassdoor has revealed in its latest report for 2016, revealed jobs in the US  with the highest salaries. This is based on the information given by US employees  in the period  2015-2016. Here are the jobs with the highest pay checks (based on median base salary)

It is evident that while doctors and lawyers are among the top two highest paid professions,  11 of the top 25 highest salaries stem from the tech and engineering jobs.  Glassdoor adds that while high pay is a consideration for 68 percent of people when they shift towards a  new job, it does not employ that a high pay is equal to job satisfaction.  The research by the website shows that job satisfaction in the long-term depends on factors like values and culture of the company, team support, trust in senior leadership and career opportunities.
